As I post this I am headed off to Edinburgh for a couple days so I thought I'd do a little 'What's In My Bag' post. Now, I'm only going to be staying for one night so I had to travel light and take only the essentials in one, small bag. I have of course got the basics - a pair of pyjamas, deodorant, hairbrush, my medication, purse, keys, headphones - but I know you'll be more interested in what is in my skincare and makeup bags.

When it comes to makeup brushes I'm just taking my little Ecotools pouch with the must-haves in. I've got my Ecotools Blending Sponge, Ecotools Full Powder Brush, Ecotools Powder/Blush Brush, Ecotools Eyeshadow Blending Brush, Ecotools Eyeshadow Shader Brush, Ecotools Pencil Brush, an Ebay fluffy blending brush, a Seventeen Eyeliner/Eyebrow Brush and a Seventeen Flat Cream Pigment Brush. I'll also be taking me Soap and Glory Contour Brush, just because it's small and easy to tuck into my bag.

In my makeup bag I have my new favorite foundation - full review coming soon - the Seventeen Stay Time 25 Hour Foundation in the shade Soft Ivory and the matching Seventeen Stay Time 18 Hour Concealer in Extra Fair. On the theme of new favorites I'm also taking my new highlighting addiction, the new Seventeen Skin Wow 3 Way Highlighter. I will be telling you all about all three of these products in an upcoming review post. To save space I'm taking my sample size Makeup Forever Ultra HD Setting Powder. I've also packed my Makeup Revolution Renaissance Glow Duo because, as you probably already know from previous posts, it is my go to for contouring as it is perfect for fair skin & blends out so nicely. I did have a minor panic when I realised that all of my matte eyeshadows were in big palettes but then I dug out this really random little DoDo Girl Matte Palette which saved me A LOT of space. I also put in my Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Shadow in the shade On and On Bronze for adding a little bit of shimmer to the centre of the eye. For brows I can just use an eyeshadow and for liquid liner I packed my trusty Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in sample size. I also grabbed a black liner that has almost been sharpened to death so I can't be sure on the brand and my Rimmel Scandaleyes in Bootleg Brown, both of these line the water/tightlines well and smoke out nicely. I obviously have my Holy Grail Maybelline Lash Sensational and my sample size Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Supreme Lash Building Mascara. For Lipstick I packed my current go to, the Collection Deluxe Lipstick in 09 Chicago and a Lacura Lipstick in 100 incase I want a little more color. I was really surprised that I managed to fit all of this into one of my little Love Me Beauty makeup bags, which, by the way, are perfect for travelling.

I tried to fit as much of my skincare etc into a little Ecotools pouch but obviously not all of it would go in there. I, of course, packed my favorite Colab Dry Shampoo and my trusty Superdrug Micellar Oil Cleansing Face Wipes. I also shoved in a few bare essentials like chewing gum, paracetamol, cotton pads, hand sanitizer and toothpaste. I threw in my favorite nighttime nourisher, the Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate, my sample size Aromatherapy Associates Rose Skin Tonic and of my course my new favorite the Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment. Again to save space I am taking my sample size Amie Face Wash, sample size Korres Mint Hand Cream, Yu-Be moisturizer in sample size and a Korres lip balm. Finally I grabbed my Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet perfume.
