What's In My Makeup Bag? - June 2017

I change out my makeup bag every month just so I can get a decent amount of use out of my new products and not get stuck on favorites without giving the new ones a real chance so I thought I'd start a monthly 'What's In My Makeup Bag' post.

This month I'm still using my Johnsons Face Care Even Complexion Cream because it's nearly out and I want to get it used up. I am slightly devastated though as I can't find it anywhere anymore and I absolutely LOVE it! For foundation this month I've been mixing my Loreal Total Cover and My Loreal Infallible Matte because I am obsessed with the coverage of the Total Cover but on it's own I find it a little bit too thick and it can stick to dry areas at times. I've been testing a new concealer, the Bourjois Healthy Mix, as ~I picked it up for just £2.99 from my local B&M but I find it a little to dark under my eyes, although it is brightening, and not quite enough coverage so I add some of my Essence Camouflage Concealer. To set my face I'm still using my Makeup Forever HD Loose Powder from last month's Love Me Beauty bag under my eyes and I'm testing out the MUA Transparent Pressed Setting Powder as part of an upcoming blog post.

I find it difficult to find a contour color pale enough for my skintone so I'm still sticking with my Makeup Revolution Renaissance Glow Duo for contouring and I'm using the Freedom Bronzed Professional in Warm Lights to warm up my face. For blush and highlight I've rediscovered my love for the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Baby It's Cold Outside Duo which are both SO creamy, SO pigmented and SO beautiful. My go to eyeshadow palette is usually still the MUA Burning Embers Palette.

I've gone back to my trusty Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and I'm now using the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner on my lids. I've been reaching for the Rimmel Scandaleyes in Bootleg Brown from my waterline and my tightline as its not as dark as a black liner and it smudges out really well, I've been varying between four lipsticks lately. The first two are the Collection Deluxe Lipsticks in Chicago and Babydoll. These have an incredible almost balmy formula which makes them perfect for throughout the day in the summer, Chicago is the perfect nude and Babydoll is the perfect mauve toned pink. I have also been loving the Primark lipstick in Desert Sand for a pop of color that is slightly more opaque than the Collection ones and, becasue I love my matte lipsticks, I've also got the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 104 in there which is a beautiful mauve/pink lipstick with a totally opaque, matte finish.
