“MANCHESTER WE ARE STRONG”

As I’m sure you are all well aware last night was the One Love Manchester Concert organised by Ariana Grande after the tragedy faced in Manchester on May 22nd. All of the artists who performed at Old Trafford did so for free and Live Nation has underwritten all of the costs for the event.

At just 23 years old Ariana has shown incredible maturity in the way she has handled this tragic situation, pulling everyone together through the intense power of music. It was clear watching that there was not an ounce of fear in the air on the night of this benefit concert, showing that love, resilience and positivity reigned. Having been blasted by many, including Piers Morgan who has now apologised, for flying off after what happened on that sad night she has truly shown what a brave, strong and sensitive individual she is.

Acts who performed included Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan, Little Mix and more. Plus a surprise performance by none other than Liam Gallagher who performed three songs in total, dedicating the last, Live Forever, to the killed and injured of the terror attack.

It was the most beautiful show of how pure and strong love can be, showing that love reigns even in this corrupt world. Ariana Grande is a truly stunning example of a human being and I commend her for her compassion, strength and support. It was truly amazing to see such unity, positivity, bravery and love. I am genuinely proud of my fellow humans!

The show ended with Ariana emotionally singing a beautiful rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

“Love always wins…”

XOXO
