Okay, so how has May already flown over?! Not that I'm complaining because now we get June which means I go to Edinburgh this month! Anyway, excitement aside, I'm back with another monthly favorites and first up this month is the Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate. I actually got this for Christmas but it's taken me a little while to get around to actually using it. I asked for this in the 10ml rollerball because I'd heard amazing things about it but didn't want to personally spend, or ask anyone to spend, the full amount on it until I'd had a chance to see how it reacted with my skin. However, now that I have tried it, I wish I'd just asked for the full size because it is amazing! Ingredients include rosehip oil, argan oil, neroli oil and natural vitamin E. It is SO nourishing and it honestly smells absolutely incredible thanks to he lavender and chamomile. It sinks into the skin nicely and leaves you with fresh, nourished and glowing skin in the morning. Definitely recommend investing in it, particularly because, although its pricey, it lasts a long time and lets be honest, its not that pricey compared to some facial oils out there. Available from boots.com and lizearle.com now. 10ml = £22.50. 28ml = £39.50. 50ml = £60.00.
Next up is a solid favorite of mine, the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula 24 Hour Moisture. I absolutely swear by this as I have a medical condition which causes red, dry patches on my lower legs and feet. It is a total lifesaver and it smells incredible which is always a bonus! Its also super affordable. Available now from superdrug.com and most leading supermarkets.

Another favorite is this Essence double wick candle which I picked up from my local B&M. I have bought SO many different kinds of these essence candles, I think they are all absolutely incredible. They have a great scent pay off that fills the house and I've received so many compliments from people as they're come in. They are similar in style to the Bath and Body Works candles and even come in some similar scents. This month though I've been obsessed with this Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut one, it honestly makes my house smell like a bakery! These are available now from B&M stores and range between £2.99 and £3.99.

My favorite lip product of May has actually come as a bit of a surprise to me because when I initially picked them up and brought them home I thought they were going to end up being one of things I buy and ever use. These are the Collection Deluxe Lipsticks in the shades 09 Chicago and 10 Baby Doll. These lipsticks have a really sheer, almost balm like formula which is why I thought I wasn't going to like them because I usually go for something more opaque. However, for summer, I think these lipsticks are perfect. They are so nourishing and give just the right amount of color to your lips for a day to day, natural, summery look. Available now from superdrug.com, lookfantastic.com or try your local Original Factory Shop as I picked mine up there for just £1.00 each!

Nails wise this month I have been addicted to the NYC Gel Gloss Nail Polishes, especially in this nude shade which is 101 Uptown Princess. The other two colors in the picture are another two of my favorite spring/summer shades - 200 Fifth Ave Princess, an orange and 500 Bronx Paparazzi, a subtle pastel lilac. I find that these last really well and don't take loads of coats to build up the color. They are also super affordable although they can be hard to come across but I picked a lot of mine up at Poundland and they came in twin packs! You can also find them through various sellers on EBay.

I'm still firmly standing by my holy grail drugstore foundation, the Loreal Infallible 24H-Matte, BUT this month I've been feeling like it wasn't lasting as well due to the change in weather which has made me a little bit more oily. So I decided to mix it with a little bit of the Infallible Total Cover and it is honestly, hands down, the best combination for flawless looking skin. It covers everything, it lasts all day, it goes on really nicely. I don't know why I haven't been doing this since I bought them! Bot are available now from superdrug.com, boots.com and various other retailers.
Last but by no means least, yes don't worry I'm nearly finished rambling, is what I think is the ultimate in affordable makeup removal - the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water. I've mentioned it before, I'll mention it again, it is amazing! It is nourishing, it removes even the most stubborn makeup really gently and it isn't greasy so it doesn't leave a yucky film behind on your face. I also find it is perfect for removing stubborn liquid lipsticks. I managed to pick my latest bottle up for a bargain £2.99 at my local savers store but its also available at superdrug.com, boots.com and most leading supermarkets.

That's it for this months favorites, I'll be back again next month with more great products and I'll be posting Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays most weeks through June! (I'm having a Monday off when I go to Edinburgh, so sue me)
XOXO
