L'Action Paris Lifting Face Mask Review

I recently picked up this new, L'Action Paris Lifting Face Mask from my local Poundland to try out and I thought I might as well review it and let you guys know if it was actually any good. They actually had a few different ones and I did pick up another one so I'll review that one as well when I get round to using it!

Okay so on the L'Action Paris website the description of the product claims that the mud mask visibly reduces wrinkles, eliminates toxins and impurities, soothes, softens, tones and regenerates your skin. The mask is enriched with patchouli oil, white clay, green clay, vitamin E and Flexan ® II, which peels off as it dries, toning your skin.

I personally found that it applied really nicely, the smell wasn't too overpowering. It was kind of a 'man' smell but the scent didn't stay on the skin after use. I did find that the mask stung my face a little at first which would have been part of the toning and regenerating process, a lot of face masks can sting at first. However, if you have any breakouts or broken/dry areas I wouldn't use this mask just because it could cause further irritation. This mask is definitely one for those good skin days when you just want to lift and brighten the skin.

The mask dried almost completely sheer and it did start to peel off in areas due to the Flexan ® II. It didn't, however, come off altogether through peeling. After fully removing it with a wash cloth my skin was left smooth, plumped up and brightened. It does say on the packet to leave to dry for 12 minutes but I found that it took closer to 20.

Overall I would definitely say that this mask is worth the £1 but I doubt I would spend more than that on it. Personally I also wouldn't repurchase this one in particular just because I feel it is aimed at more mature/wrinkle prone skin. I do want to try out more masks in the range though!
