Met Gala 2017 Fashion Favorites

Now I am well aware that I am by no means a fashion expert but I LOVE looking at all the amazing gowns that everyone pulls out of the bag for the Met Gala so I thought I'd pick out a few of my favorites for you guys. My absolute favorites from the Met Gala were definitely everyone's favorite couple, Blake Lively, who looked stunning in her gorgeous embellished gown and handsome husband, Ryan Reynolds. The ultimate part of this dress was without doubt the cascading feather train to which she had matched a pair of amazing sapphire earrings and a triple sapphire ring. Their look was the perfect balance of 'matching' as Ryan, wearing a sleek tux, matched his bow tie to the blue tones in the train of his beautiful wife's gown.

Next up is Kendall Jenner who seems to have received a few conflicting reviews on her outfit for he glamorous night but I think she absoluetley slayed! The Met Gala is all about fashion that doesn't conform with every day style and gowns that looks like works of art. I totally agree that there is no way anyone but her could pull of this number, which consisted of 85,000 crystals, but you have to admit it guys, she SLAYED.

Her sister Kylie also looked amazing as always, in a gorgeous nude Versace dress which was heavily embellished and looked perfect down to the last detail. The waterfall effect pulled the whole thing together and Kylie teamed it with a sleek platinum bob and nude makeup, making sure nothing pulled the attention away from the gown.

My final mention is for Dakota Johnson who rocked this gorgeous darkly romantic, ruffled Gucci gown which looked absolutely stunning on her frame. Though I am yet to be convinced that there is anything this woman couldn't manage to pull off! She kept her hair and makeup simple, amplifying the drama of the gown.
