In this post I'm going to run through all of my favorite things from this past month. These things aren't necessarily new in the month of April, they are just things that I've been obsessed with lately and think you guys should definitely check out!
Okay so I'm going to get the beauty products out of the way first, starting with the Colab Dry Shampoos. I picked a couple of these up from Superdrug after I realized that the dry shampoo I was using just didn't agree with my scalp and I can safely say there is no going back. These are INCREDIBLE! The Paradise and the Tropical scents are my absolute favorites but I honestly love all the ones I've tried so far. They don't leave a bunch of residue behind, they smell amazing and, most importantly, they work! I would definitely recommend you give them a try if your a after a decent dry shampoo that leaves you with fresh smelling hair! Available now from Superdrug and feelunique.com.

Next up are the Loreal Pure Clay Masks, specifically the Detox Mask. Now, I'm always a little dubious about drugstore face masks as I have had a few that just didn't really do much and I really like a face mask to leave my skin feeling brand new but I can safely say that this mask does just that. It works quickly and doesn't leave my face red and sore. The detox version of this mask contains charcoal which acts as a magnet to draw out all of the nasty impurities in your skin and leave you with clear, fresh skin. Its great if you suffer with acne or blackheads and it doesn't dry out your face either. Hands down the best drugstore face mask I've come across and the bargain price is just an added bonus! Available now from Boots, Superdrug and many more.

The third thing I want to mention to you guys are these Superdrug own brand Micellar Oil Cleansing Facial Wipes. Now, the Garnier Micellar Water with Oil is a holy grail for me and my plan when I bought these was actually to pick up some of the Garnier wipes that go with that but m,y local store was sold out so I thought I'd grab these instead and try them out. These wipes are perfect for removing your makeup before you cleanse your face properly, particularly on those nights when you can't be bothered to use a cleansing balm etc to take it off. The oil in them helps to remove even the toughest of makeup but they aren't so oily that your skin is left feeling greasy, the oil really does just skin straight into your skin. There also perfect fro someone who suffers with dry or sensitive skin as they are both soft on the skin and hydrating. I love them and they are an absolute bargain. Available now from Superdrug.

The next three things are some new products that I picked up from Makeup Revolution after Sophdoesnails mentioned them in some of her videos. The first one is this blinding creamy, white highlight from Makeup Revolution. This is one of their relatively new Skin Kiss Highlighters in the shade Ice Kiss. The formula is perfect it is so creamy and the highlight itself is blinding but if applied with a light hand can give you just a gentle glow. I however am into the more intense highlights anyway. It is the perfect shade from anyone like me who has the palest of pale skin tones but would also work for other skin tones. Secondly I want to mention their new Renaissance Lipsticks. These are, without a doubt my new favorite lipsticks of all time. The formula is so creamy but doesn't look overly shiny on your lips and it feels so good it is easy to forget that you actually have lipstick on, yet the color is completely opaque. They also have great staying power and they come in a great range of colors including all kinds of nudes/browns, pinks/reds and some perfect vampy shades. I definitely recommend you pick up a few of these if your into lipsticks with great
color pay off. The final Makeup Revolution thing I want to mention is the new Renaissance Glow Palette which contains a perfect, light contour shade to sculpt with and a stunning highlight. Both products in this duo are beautifully formulated, creamy powders with great pay off and the contour is perfect for anyone with fair/light skin as it is definitely nice and cool toned, giving you a great shadow that is anything but orange. All of these items are available now from Superdrug or tambeauty.com.
The last two things I want to mention are entertainment based. The first of which is the new season of Prison Break which, if your a die heard fan like me, you will feel like you have been waiting forever for. It has to be said though the wait has certainly been worth it as the show returned this month with a bang and hasn't had a disappointing moment yet! I don't want to give anything away for those of you who haven't watched it yet so all I going to say is this...WATCH IT and if you haven't seen the first four seasons, get on it now! The first four season are available to watch now on Netflix and the brand new, fifth season airs in the UK on FOX, Mondays at 9PM.
Okay, I know this has been a long one but, please, bare with me for this last favorite. I'll try and keep it short and sweet I promise. My final favorite isn't necessarily just from April as I've been obsessed for a while now but she is DEFINITELY worth the mention. It's my QUEEN, youtuber Sophdoesnails. She is ABSOLUTELY slaying right now having recently reached, and quickly exceeded, 300,000 subscribers on her main channel. Her videos are amazing and she is SUCH a likable, easy to relate to and down to earth person. She does all kinds of makeup related videos as well as clothing hauls, nail tutorials and she also has a vlog channel. She also recently started working with on of my favorite brands, Makeup Revolution, and now does videos on their Youtube channel as well. You should definitely check her out if you haven't already! Her main channel and all her social media has the same handle, Sophdoesnails and her vlog channel is Sophdoesvlogs.
There I'm done. Those are all my favorites for April. There will be more blog posts next week, I'm aiming to get one up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for now and I'll be posting my favorites every month!
XOXO
